Information: This scholarship, formerly known as the Poster Exhibit Scholarship, offers attendance scholarships to dermatologists from developing countries. The goal of the Strauss & Katz World Congress Fund Scholarship Program is to bring young dermatologists, including those still in training, to the AAD Annual Meeting for educational and networking opportunities. to encourage their participation at AAD Annual Meetings. The 2017 Annual Meeting will be held March 3-7 in Orlando, Florida.

Requirements:
- Abstract must be submitted with application.
- Only nationals of developing countries are eligible.
- Apply as a resident in dermatology or apply within three years of completing dermatology residency training at the time of the meeting.
- Be endorsed by a national dermatologic society. A signed letter of endorsement from the society is required to be attached to the online application and must be in Adobe Acrobat portable document format (PDF).
- Priority will be given to applicants who have never attended AAD meetings.
- Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible.
- No deferrals permitted. Eligible applicants may reapply the following year if unable to accept scholarship.
Budget: 1500 - 2,000$ for travel costs

Everett C. Fox, MD, Memorial Lectureship from American Academy of Dermatology

Information: The Everett C. Fox, MD, Lectureship was formed through a bequest from the estate of Everett C. Fox, MD. Dr. Fox had been a practicing clinician in Texas and was vice president of the American Academy of Dermatology in 1946.

Requirements:
- The individual selected must be a dermatologist.
- The recipient should be an acknowledged, expert clinician.
- The emphasis must be in selecting a person who is a practicing clinical dermatologist (including dermatopathologists and dermatologic surgeons) regardless of his or her area of practice. There should be no emphasis on a particular age group.
- The recipient must have proven communication skills.
Budget: The selected lecturer will receive a cash award of $10,000 and present a 30-minute lecture at AAD's Summer Meeting.

Information: The Society for Pediatric Dermatology's (SPD) annual award for a dermatologist who has made significant contribution to the care of pediatric skin disease in his or her developing country. The award will be given again in 2018, and the receipient of the award will be invited to attend our 43rd Annual Meeting, to be held July 11-14, 2018 in Lake Tahoe, California, USA and will be asked to give a brief presentation at that meeting.
We are particularly interested in supporting a dermatologist who might otherwise be unable to attend our meeting.

Transplant Skin Cancer Fellowship

Information: The Transplant Skin Cancer Network is a multicenter initiative established to study skin cancer outcomes after solid organ transplantation. The study is led by the Department of Dermatology and Transplant Center at UCSF.
Transplant Skin Cancer Network Fellowships are available to postgraduates, medical students, residents, or research fellows who are interested in performing research under the supervision of network members.

Requirements:
- This fellowship is open to post-graduates, medical students, and research fellows who meet the following criteria:
- Are able to commit between four months to one year to performing full time research in which at least one major project is related to skin cancer in organ transplant patients.
- Residents and clinical fellows pursing research for a one year period in combination with clinical duties will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Fellows must be mentored by a member of the Transplant Skin Cancer Network and applicants must be able to provide a letter or recommendation from their mentor along with their application.
- Submit description of planned or ongoing research. Preference will be given to applicants working on the Transplant Skin Cancer Incidence Study.
Budget: This is a non-funded fellowship and no financial support is being awarded.
