Information: The Julian M. Bruner Award for Outstanding Poster was created in 2001 by Mrs. Winifred Bruner in memory of her husband through a grant to the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand. The ASSH Scientific Displays Committee is responsible for reviewing all scientific posters and selecting the winner of the Bruner Award.

Information: The American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand (AFSH) will offer a $100,000 two-year clinical grant program with a rotating topic of interest, every two years. By rotating the topic, we hope to reach new investigators while emphasizing specific areas of interest in the field of hand and upper extremity.

Information: This monetary award is for a young hand surgeon during his or her first four years of practice, who has demonstrated strong potential for excellence in patient care, research and education.

Requirements:
- Must have completed an accredited fellowship within the past four years.
- The applicant must have begun his or her surgical practice in a center where either residents or fellows are taught.
- Must be an ASSH Candidate Member.
Budget: The award money will be disbursed within a month of the ASSH Annual Meeting.
